Against extraordinary odds Michael Ian Black¡¯s romantic spoof Wedding Daze drew chuckles from critics at the press screening who will doubtless wake up tomorrow and shriek: ¡°What on earth was I thinking?¡±

This is American Pie country. Anderson (Jason Biggs) shocks his fianc¨¦e when he proposes to her in a formal restaurant while wearing a pair of fluffy wings, a tight pair of red knickers and nothing else. A depressing year later ¨C almost for the sheer hell of it ¨C he proposes to a total stranger (Isla Fisher) in a diner. She promptly agrees. The premise is frankly terrible. But the inlaws are marvellous grotesques.
